T"joint project of the Jelecz goods vehicle plant, of Poland, and the Liaz lorry works of Czechoslovakia, producer of the Skoda-706 heavy (The Commerc.iul Motor, April 20, 1962), will be responsible for a new 10-metric-ton goods vehicle, available both as normal goods vehicle and as tipper. Production of the vehicle will start in the second quarter of next year and not at the end of the year as previously expected, serial output to begin at the end of 1965.
As reported in the above-mentioned issue, it^is expected that initial production of the international consortium will be of some 30,000 units per year.
