Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Not everyone would describe the 4-Series as pretty, but there are those who think it a handsome vehicle, Perhaps the 124 420 will become even more striking next year if rumours of an impending facelift turn out to be true.

As it stands, the 4-Series Topline cab offers a large living space with a slightly different layout to its competitors, which is accepted well by drivers. As will always be the case, by comparison the standard R cab feels more cramped.

Some operators expressed doubts about the authenticity of highly-specified ex-factory vehicles but agreed that back up at dealer level was very professional. Any doubts we may have had about 420hp being sufficient at 44 tonnes appear lobe groundless.

The 11.7-litre engine has not been without its problems but is generally perceived as reliable in the long run. Fuel consumption of about 9.0mpg is about what we would expect at maximum weight. And local dealer backup gets plenty of approval.

Used examples hold up well in the market and 6x2 versions look like good value for your money next to only slightly less expensive 4x2 tractive units limited to a mere 40 tonnes gross.

And bear in mind, no one has ever lost their job for buying Scania.
