Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Inoticed a piece in CM (27 March-2 April) about traffic examiners threatening to strike over the rate of pence per mile they are getting for use of their own cars on VI business. The allowance is 42p per mile and they are asking for a further 22p per mile to take them up to 64p per mile.

I am an owner-driver and with all the expenses of running a 38-tonne 3+2 tractive unit and trailer.

I have been paid less for a load than the VI are asking for. And the VI think they are badly done by! Maybe they should try being an owner-driver!
