GLASS TRANSPORT Systems Ltd, has designed and built a power operated roof for glass carrying vehicles. Aimed at increasing the potential of these vehicles, it is air powered. This, its maker says, means that working parts are few and maintenance minimal. The roof slides and special allowances are built in to take care of body movement and water extraction. A range of alternative closures are available on standard or specialist bodywork. Glass Transport Systems are based at Saxon Way, Melbourn, Herts.
