THE makers of the Handifax porta charting unit, Fonadek Intematio Ltd. claim that the chart solves most of problems of planning vehicle maintenai schedules. Essentially it comprises an up and lower section of graph paper enclo in a lightweight frame and centrally divi( by a rigid full-width slide and protected a semi-rigid transparent fixed cover. Mo able coloured column strips are easily justable to correspond with selected indic The face of the slide carries a calibra card for use as a base-line index, the lol section of graph paper being left free use in charting additional information conventional plotting.

The vehicles involved are each identit on the base-line by registration letters a numbers, whilst dates or specific miIea4 are marked vertically on the left.
