Latest figures from the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) reveal that the number of annual truck tests increased by 0.2% in 2002/03. There was a slight increase in the proportion of multi-axle vehicles. Although two-axle vehicles still account for almost 73% of the UK pare the number tested last year fell by almost 2,000, while three-axled vehicles increased by 2,300 and four-axled vehicles by 500.
