THEMinistry of Transport has asked for comments on proposals to amend the 1964 Special Types Order to permit vehicles fitted with a movable platform on an extensible, power-operated boom to be used on the public roads by day and night; for the same purpose, a further amendment is proposed to the Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 1964.
