• Ryder has signed its first local authority contract with Swale Borough Council near Sittingbourne.
The contract hire package will support all local authority services in Swale, involving more than 100 vehicles. Ryder has purchased the existing fleet and will maintain and renew the council-liveried vehicles.
Ryder is leasing the council depot which it will use as a Ryder depot for the Sittingbourne region, and as a maintenance centre for council vehicles.
