We have a steel body, halfpipe tipper and a sliding-floor trailer. Both come from our regular production but are new to the UK and offer some interesting features. All trailers carry our European whole vehicle type approval and a body certified to EN DIN 12642 XL. All trailers are developed and tested on our road simulator to optimise strength and unladen weight. The tipper (SKI) trailer is fitted with a lift axle to increase manoeuvrability.
What product or innovation will you launch at the show? The innovation is to bring a new supplier into the market, offering a product proven in the harshest of environments, supported by Europe's largest trailer manufacturer. While some UK customers have operated Schmitz Cargobull tippers and sliding floors before, this is the perfect forum to show the latest versions and bring some fresh ideas into the market.
What change would you make to the construction/ bulk transport industry if you had the power?
Offer products with greater operating efficiency, versatility that make financial sense.
