AS A long-distance driver parking overnight at many service areas, I would like to disagree with a statement on page 3 of CM, March 28 on charges made at Granada Service Area.
You state that Granada charges ITS and return £2.25 of this in a form of a meal voucher to the driver. In fact Granada charges £5 and only return £1.50 meal voucher, making a parking charge of £3.50.
I have stayed overnight at nearly all of Granada-run service areas and the parking charges have all been the same.
