Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• C. Wright and Son, Penycae, Wrexham, will be permitted to vary the duration of the eight London excursions granted to the firm last July. In Wrexham last week the North Western Traffic Commissioners said the three-day tours could be alternated with ones of four days' duration but they did not feel the population of Penycae and Rhos could support an additional eight tours. There were three objectors to the application.

Mr. M. C. Wright, a partner, said full coaches had been taken to London on the two weekends during the Motor Show in October last year which was the first opportunity they had had to advertise and organise a -tour after the grant.

Mr. Wright said that there was no call for 16 tours at present but he was looking ahead. He agreed that he had limited the last application to eight occasions in order to secure the withdrawal of Midland Red's objection.

An unopposed application to run to Liverpool for theatres. cinemas. concerts and variety shows was granted at the same time.
