• At the RHA national executive council meeting in London on Wednesday Mr. Noel R. Wynn was re-elected national chairman. Vice-chairmen W. McMillan and J. P. Wells were also returned to office.
The council decided to ask Areas and functional groups to consider the pros and cons of changing the method of vehicle taxation to concentrate on the fuel tax instead of the road fund duty.
After the meeting pioneer member Mr. Eddie Shaw, of Sheffield, presented Mr. Wynn with a replacement badge of office and a replica of the new Association symbol.
