• A six-day course in transport management opened last Friday in Exeter. Organized by the Exeter Technical College, it covers six successive Fridays.

The syllabus was designed by the college staff in conjunction with RTITB, and the opening paper, on the Transport Act 1968. was presented by lain Sherriff, CM's deputy editor. L. J. Oldridge, a CM contributor. figures prominently throughout the course on aspects of current and pending law. The syllabus is extremely comprehensive and each day's proceedings runs for 10 hours.

This course is attended by 27 local operators and 10 others have registered for another similar course to be held in October.
