• BOC Gases has launched a £2 million restructuring of its UK-wide customer service organisation in what it claims as possibly the most complex and comprehensive customer service application of computer and telecommunications technology ever undertaken by a UK industrial product company.
A new 365-days-a-year, round-the-dock freephone contact-0800 111 333— called BOC Gases Directline, will handle an estimated two million orders and enquiries a year.
