What a load of clap-trap The Hawk writes about seat belts. I've been driving 31 years and do not feel it's necessary and want freedom of choice. Over the years I have driven about every type of vehicle on the roads.

We need enforcement of the road laws, say £20 per mph over the speed limit and £500 minimum fines for drinking and driving.

We do not want ideas about charging people again for service we already pay for, What do I pay £20 National Insurance for? But I will, if all the smokers, hang-gliders, mountaineers, pot-holers, where will we stop, do the same!

If you want an eye-opener come and spend a few weeks in our yard; how do these things pass the test?
