Mr. N. E. Stead, manager of the Manchester depot of Joseph Lucas .(Sales and Service), Ltd., has retired after 33 years with Lucas. He is succeeded by Mr. D. .1. Coe: The new mayor of Retford, Notts. is to be Counc:Ilor B. R. Pattlsou, who has been depot superintendent of the East Midlands Motor Services, Ltd., at Retford since 1928.

Amos, Midland area manager of the Spire Speed Nut Division, becomes sales manager of the Industrial Nut and Bolt Division, and Mr. E. E. Harrison, technical representative for the Spire Speed Nut Division since 1953, becomes Midland area manager of the Division.
