the other week, giving ITV's Telethon a big lift. One of its 50-tonne lorry-mounted cranes was used to hoist an eightmetre yacht from the TV series Howard's Way up the side of a skyscraper in the City of London. Passers-by had to guess the weight of the yacht's keel — just over 684kg. The winner got to keep the 216,000 yacht and sail it away down the Thames.
