Motor and power-farming exhibits were numerous at the Three Counties Show, which opened at Hereford last Tuesday. Exhibitors of motor vehicles and agrimotors were :—Messrs. Weeks and Sons, Maidstone, orchard tractor (adapted Fordson) ; International Harvester Co. of Great Britain, Ltd., International and Farman tractors ; Massey-Harris,,,,Ltd., 12-20, 20-30 and four wheel drive general purpose models : Messrs. R. P. Ravenhill, Hereford, Fords and Fordsons; Eccles Motor Caravans, Ltd., Birmingham, 24 motor horsebox and dual-purpose sixwheeled horsebox; National Motor Horse Box Co„ Park Royal, Curtis horseboxes.
There was also a number of trailers and caravans, whilst various makes of Motor lawn mower were in evidence. Chevrolet vehicles suitable for farmers were prominent.
Singer Representation in South America.
As a result of the Singer concern's participation in the British Erripire Trade Exhibition at Buenos Aires, Elustondo and Co., of Rivadavia 2902, Buenos Aires, has been appointed sole distributor of Singer ' vehicles for the Argentine. Negotiations have also been-concluded-for the Singer company tebe represented by Zuniga and Co., Castilla 5023, Santiago, Chile.
R.A.F. Display at Hendon.
The 12th Royal Air Force Display will be held at Hendon on Saturday, June 27th. Tickets for the special enclosures and stands can be obtained from the Secretary, Royal Air Force Display, Hendon, or from various booking agents. Amongst the most interesting events will be the catapulting of a large twinengined bomber from the ground, also for the first time there will be an exhibition of refuelling aircraft in the air.
A New Portable Air Grinder.
The Cleveland Pneumatic Tool Co., Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A., announces the addition of a new type of portable rotary air grinder to its range of air operated tools. The new grinder is made in several sizes and styles, and special attention has been paid to balance at. all speeds. Care has been taken in the design of the various parts to reduce friction and to prolong aervice. The new Cieco tool is compact and is claimed to operate without vibration.
• Useful Chemieo Products.
The County Chemical Co., Ltd., Chetnico Works, Bradford Street, Birmingham, draws our attention to the merits of Chemico tar remover, which is a non-inflammable product, noninjurious to anything but tar and grease. We are told that it can be used with perfect safety on all kinds of surface, including leather and fabric. It retails in 10-oz. tins at 2s. 6d. each. Another product of this concern is Chernico radiator cleanser, an 18-oz. tin of which costs 2s. 6d. It removes scale, sediment and rust from radiators and thereby renders the cooling system more efficient. It can be used while a vehicle is in:use and is said to effect a cure Within 24 hours.
