LEYLANDS FOR WALLASEY

SIX Leyland P.D.2 chassis have been ordered by Wallasey Transport Department. It is understood that they will be fitted with 1949 Burlingham high-bridge type bodies at present mounted on Leyland T.D.4 chassis which are being re-bodied this year.

With this purchase, the whole of Wallasey's fleet will be of post-war design, except for four T.D.4 chassis. the bodies of which are of 1948 manufacture.
