Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NOTTINGHAM-BASED company, which provided event logistics to, among others, Colgate and the BBC, has gone into liquidation with little prospect of paying its creditors.

Events 2 Go Logistics entered liquidation on 23 December 2013 but, according to a report from Jeremy Bleazard at XL Business Solutions, there appears to be no assets available to pay its estimated £84,000 debts.

This total includes £68,000 to trade and expense creditors.

As well as logistics, Events 2 Go's website said it provided drivers and storage space and helped out with the European leg of The Who's tour last year.

LGV supplier Aspey Trucks is owed more than £19,000 by the company, with director Edward Wood describing the situation as "a joke".

"It always had a couple on rent, but it's very easy to amass that money," said Wood.

"It's two months before you know what's happening when it is slow paying," he continued.

"I knew something was going on. You have got to take it on the chin," he added. "You try to protect yourself by trying to get your money and doing credit checks. But anything where you give credit out is a risk."

At the time of going to press, Bleazard did not respond.
