Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• As predicted, Stuart Johnson has sold his ailing Worksopbased bus and coach distributor to Scania (CM 9-15 Jan).

The dealership lost more than £470,000 in the year to September 1990. Johnson is planning "to pursue his own interests within the industry", while Don Macintosh, former Stuart Johnson commercial director, has taken the reins as managing director.

Scania, which held a 50% share in the nine-year-old company before the acquisition, is taking on Peter Crawford as its national bus sales manager. He was a director of the bus sales division at Saiart Johnson where he has spent the past two years: his 35 years in the industry also includes a 20-year stint at MCW.
