• The immediate future should see promising results by the British independent makers of heavy commercial vehicles. That is the view of stockbrokers Hoare and Co, of 1 King Street, London, EC2 in a detailed report prepared by their investment research department.
The report covers Atkinson, Dennis, ERF, Fodens and Seddon and concludes that the earnings index for these companies will improve by about 25 per cent in the coming nine months—more than industrial shares in general.
The report, intended primarily for Hoare and Co's clients, provides an extremely detailed make-by-make analysis of the commercial and financial position and prospects of each of the companies.
