Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The service stations catering specially for lorry drivers, of which more than 400 are planned by Les Routiers in France (Commercial Motor, January 19), will put Britain's motorway service areas to shame. The Transport Club of Great Britain, which has just been formed by the Green Shield Trading Stamp Co. is not in the same league. It exists to promote the sale of trading stamps and not to serve lorry drivers' interests.

The club has issued a pocket-sized guide to more than 500 garages offering stamps to drivers and showing whether they provide agency service, a shop, cafe, lavatories, telephones, night parking. night sleeping accommodation, repairs or breakdown arrangements. The range of services offered by individual garages, varies widely and inclusion in the guide is no guarantee of quality
