• Southfields of Loughborough is unveiling a slidingdoor box van and the first of a new range of Comet drawbar trailers at the Motor Show in September.
The box van will be a 5.1m model based on a Renault Midliner chassis and is being produced in a dedicated factory unit at the Loughborough site. It aims to provide fast access in a rigid-sided vehicle without significant loss of load space.
The new trailer range will be represented by a tandem-axle, centre-bogie design.
