WE RECORD with regret the death of David Ward of D. Ward (Stirling) Ltd.
Mr Ward was born in Glasgow but went to Australia when 15. On his return he moved into the haulage business in Dunblane, Perthshire and into the licensed trade when road transport was nationalised.
Following denationalisation, he returned to the haulage industry in 1955.
