• Recovery equipment manufacturer, Wreckers International, is re-organising its operations with the opening of new factories in Thetford and Yate.
Wreckers International (Eastern) in Thetford, will make slidebed demountable bodies and light weight underreach equipment. A south west division in Yate will run a workshop fitting lift equipment, bodywork to chassis, and painting and signwriting the vehicle.
The two factories will operate separately, but will be run from Wreckers' head office in Hertford, which will continue to deal with the heavy end of the market.
