A FORK-LIFT truck with a four-stage mast giving 40ft lift and with a lifting capacity of 2,500lb has been developed by Matbro Ltd. for a special warehouse application. The closed height of the mast is 13ft 3in and the makers believe the truck provides the biggest ratio of lift height to collapsed height.

Overall height of the high-lift machine utilizing the Matbro Y80 chassis is 43ft 9in and total weight 13,9301b. The mast tilt which is restricted for safety reasons to 2 degrees forward and 5 degrees backwards is powered by overhead tilt cylinders for maximum leverage and control.
