Berry, chairman and managing director of the Bernard Wardle Group, who has been acting as managing director of Hispeed, remains as chairman but with the appointment of Mr. Leveratt relinquishes the position of managing director to devote more time to his Group activities.
OBITUARY
WE regret to record the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hanchett.
Mr. Hanchett, 43, Great Yarmouth Corporation transport department general manager since 1963, and his wife were killed last week when a tree fell on their car during a gale. He was deputy general manager of Reading Corporation transport department before joining Great Yarmouth.
