A NEW ONLINE Transport Industry Conditions of Carriage service (TICC) is launched this week on Roadtransport.com, giving users a simple, low-cost solution to managing their freight terms and conditions.
With fuel prices on the rise, along with the bug bear of unplanned waiting time to tip or load, it is essential operators have conditions of carriage in place to protect and control their business dealings, says Roadtransport.com publisher Andy Salter. Our new TICC service is a joint-venture with well-known industry software specialist Road Tech, and, at just /48 per year to subscribe, this represents great value," he adds.
T1CC is an easy-to-use service which allows operators to create their own personalised conditions of carriage documentation for customers, complete with the ability to add a fuel escalator, demurrage charges and limits of liability. It's all configurable online with the option to add logos and share the documents with customers.
