• A 15 per cent rise for working abnormal hours is being claimed by 100,000 provincial busmen following those already being considered for 70,000 municipal and 53,000 London busmen.
If agreed the rise could give the company's municipal men another £2.60 a week from increased shift allowances and spread-over of payments.
