Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Plaxtons is selling its Castle Works site in Seamer Road, Scarborough, for £1.7 million and moving its coachbuilding and administration activities to its Clayton Low Road site at Eastfield, Scarborough. Plaxtons says the move is a consolidation of the company's business at one site; in the past the unfinished coaches were transferred from Clayton Low Road to Seamer Road for trim and finishing work.

A spokesperson for the company would not say whether any redundancies were likely as a result of the move.

All coachbuilding activities at Seamer Road have now been transferred, but Plaxtons administrative staff is remaining there for the next few months.

By next spring, however, the company's registered office will be Clayton Low Road.

Seamer Road was Plaxtons' original coachbuilding site.
