• London-based distribution specialist Bucks is evaluating three double-decked semitrailers (two by Millmore Engineering) in order to increase its capacity.
The 12m bodies have aluminium side panels, folded lengthways for strength and rigidity. Equipped with RO-R axles and monoleaf suspension with 215/75R Michelin low profile tyres, the trailers meet Bucks' maximum height requirements of 4.2m with a minimum working height between floors of 1.8m, The double deck trailers allow Bucks to carry 66 trolleys, an increase of 42% over its conventional 12m box van semi-trailers.
