Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A multi-grade engine lubricant having a property that reduces oil consumption of engines that normally have a high consumption has been announced by the Mobil Oil Co. Ltd. It is a 20W-50 oil and is known as the Mobil Delvac Special 20W-50.

Like the Mobil Delvac Special 10W-30 oil (which in 1964 was improved to give a high resistance to exhaust-port fouling of two-stroke diesel engines) the I recently attended a demonstration of a new handshear which seems to me so useful, simple to use and low priced that it must find its way into the majority of fitters tool kits. It is called the Goscut and will do any sort of cutting job on materials of all sorts including mild-steel sheet up to a thickness of 19 gauge.

Shaped like a 6in. long pistol, the Goscut comprises three parts —the grip, a pivot-bolt and a cutter. The pistol head is made in the form of an inverted Ushaped anvil, slotted through its horizontal section. This is firmly fixed to the reinforced injection moulding that forms the handpiece in such a way that the two sides of the slot must be pulled together by adjustment of the pivot-bolt, and it is here that the secret of the tool's versatility is held.

Because different materials require different shearing clearance, conventional shears have never been suitable for all materials. The Goscut, however, will cut anything that will not shatter. Other advantages it has are that it contains no springs, has no sharp edges, needs very Little pressure to operate, and will cut circles, squares. straight line or diamond shapes. One can trim slivers of material from the edge of a sheet and cut through pre-formed angles without distortion. The three cutting blades with which it is supplied are, with normal use, claimed to be everlasting. new lubricant is a Supplement I oil with a high dispersive power. In both cases the oil provides protection against rusting and corrosion resulting from moisture condensation and can therefore be used as a storage oil. And the oils meet internationally recognized engine test procedures including the stringent (1968) classifications for measured maximum viscosity at Od eg F.
