• Procedure for keeping members informed promptly of developments resulting from the Transport Act 1968 was agreed at the first meeting of the Transport Act Working Party of the Road Haulage Association on Monday.
Mr. J. P. Wells, an RHA vice-chairman, was elected chairman and Mr. J. M. Silbermann vice-chairman. Mr. J. J. Baylis has been appointed to the working party from the public relations committee. The complete membership is now as follows: Messrs. J. J. Baylis; R. S. Bowles and J. M. Silbermann (education and training committee); T. J. E Price (labour relations); E. R. Taylor (licensing); G. R. Telfer (highways and traffic); R. W. Tree (commercial); and G. A. H. Watts (technical).
