Wankel Licence for Italy: N.S.U., of Neckarsulm, Germany,annOunces that a licence agreement for developing and building the N.S.U. Wankel rotary-piston engine has been concluded with Alfa-Romeo of Italy. This is the 11th factory now licensed to develop the N.S.U. Wankel, F. Perkins Ltd. being British licensees. Vauxhall Expansion: Vauxhall Motors' engine test and development facilities will be greatly increased in size and efficiency when a major extension programme, now under way, is completed at the end of this year. Costing £585.000, a 200-ft-long extension to the existing 'dynamometer ouilding wilt provide an additional 25,000 sq. ft. of floor space for the development of petrol and diesel power units.
