Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FODEN TRUCKS' parent company, Paccar, has signed an agreement with Volkswagen's Brazilian factory to distribute 11 and 13-tonne VW trucks and sell them in the US with Kenworth and Peterbilt badges.

The specification has been modified to match North American requirements and includes the latest Cummins 6CT8.3 six-cylinder turbocharged 8.3-litre engine rated at 157kW (210hp), Fuller 5106 six-speed gearbox and Rockwell nine-tonne rear axle.

Foclen Trucks assistant managing director Mark Piggot says there are no plans to offer midweight vehicles through Focleis's UK dealerships.

In the UK, the MAN-VW range extends to 10 tonnes, but above that MAN offers a downrated derivative of the larger cabbed 16.170 and has no intention of offering the American specifications. The C-Series is to be made generally available in the UK next year.
