• The 050,000 MTC Sandbach purpose-built parts and service centre was opened in May by David Douglas, managing director of Foden UK.
The operation will employ 20 people with the promise of 20 more jobs being created over the next two years.
The centre occupies a one-acre site on the Springvale Industrial Estate (Write No 48 on reader reply card) and was completed in 14 months.
Facilities include a five-bay workshop, tachograph and brake test centres plus a parts wholesale outlet. MTC is a franchised dealer for Foden and the Sandbach operation is the seventh of its parts and service centres in the North-West.
