• BRS Northern has won a five-year £2 millon contract hire deal with UPVC manufacturer the Spectus Group.
BRS's Thameside branch will run six Leyland Daf 2500 drawbar demountable combinations and 22 interchangeable 6.7m curtain-sided bodies from Stoke-on-Trent.
The contract also includes four Leyland Daf 2500 tractors with a dozen 12m curtain-sided trailers.
