• Lothian Region Transport has taken delivery of its 200th Leyland Olympian, fitted with power steering', a ZF four-speed gearbox, integral retarder and dualline air brakes as standard.
The Lothian fleet specifies 81-seater bodies by Alexanders of Falkirk, Vultron electronic destination gear, and Transmatic continuous strip-style saloon lighting.
The Olympian has been displayed on the stand shared by Leyland Bus and Volvo Bus Corporation at the UITP public transport show in Budapest.
Minibus relay
• The Automobile Association has extended its Relay Plus service to include minibuses, following an agreement with Kenning Car and Van Rental. The service offers the option of a replacement vehicle for 48 hours.
