Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• HOW good is your livery?

• Does it look smart?

• Does it project your image?

• Does it attract new business? • Does it protect your vehicle?

• You don't know? Well now is your chance to find out.

CM is organising an annual vehicle livery competition. There are five classes: A — Vans and pick ups up to 7.5 tonnes gvw; B — Buses and coaches; C — Platform lorries and box vans; D — Tippers; E — Articulated vehicles.

The Class A competition is open now and entry is simple. Here is all you have to do: Send us four half plate colour photographs of your vehicle showing full front, full rear and one of each side.

In all cases, the doors should be closed. Entries must also detail the paint specification — make of paint or transfer (where used) and cost.

There is one award in each class only. We will present a trophy, with a replica to be retained by the winner.

Entries close on July 29. Entry fee is £5 per vehicle and each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form. All entries will be judged from the photographs and the judges' decision will be final.

Eminent We have an eminent and highly skilled panel of judges drawn from members of the Design Council and the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association. Chairman is Sir Hugh Casson, president of the Royal Academy of Arts.

Best entries, in the opinion of the judges, will appear in colour in CM on October 14 and the presentation to the winner will be made in Glasgow during the Scottish Motor Show in November.

Use the attached entry form and post your entry, this week, to CM Livery Competition, Room 62, Dorset House, Stamford Street, London SE! 9LU.
