Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Operators of Ford Transit and Bedford CF chassis are now able to buy a truck van body from York Trailer's branch factories. Despite being an exceptionally tough body, it is light enough to ensure an all np tare weight of under 30cwt.

The bodies come as do-it-yourself kits of complete sub-assemblies, or York branches will build up the kits for operators and turn out complete vans, painted and ready for the road.

Manufactured at York's Watford branch, they are also supplied and /or installed at York branches at Rdinham (Essex), Warrington, Cannock, Avonmouth, Glasgow, Doncaster, Llantrisant and Corby (Northants).

Basic dimensions are height 6ft, width 7ft, length 10ft, producing a capacity of 415 cu ft. An operator would pay between £325 and £375 for a body depending on options specified.

These are the smallest vans ever built by York, who normally is associated with much larger vehicles. Basic features and material quality are identical with York's regular truck van body range. Thus an operator will buy a one-piece roof with all outside riveting and sidewall panels of corrugated bright aluminium alloy sheet. Body posts are at 24in. centres. Rear openings are full-width double doors, fullwidth roller shutter or half-width double rear doors with restricted "one man" rear opening. Floors are softwood or alloy plank.
