ENTRIES FOR THE next Young Apprentice of the Year award, run by the Learning and Skills Council, must be received by Friday 23 February.
The award, now in its second year, is open to youngsters aged 14-16 across a number of industry sectors. Last year, 15year-old runner-up Alex Morley went onto secure advanced training with Mercedes-Benz. The fourth national Apprenticeship Awards will be held at the London Hilton on Park Lane on 20 June.
Other awards that are up for grabs this year include:
Apprentice of the Year, Personal Achiever of the Year, and Employer of the Year.
