A DIRECTOR West Pennines has been appointed by BRS Northern, the National Freight Consortium haulage company formed last year after the activities of North-Western and North-Eastern BRS were merged.

He is Andrew Callaghan, who has been manager of the company's Tameside branch for the past two years.
