A DIRECTOR West Pennines has been appointed by BRS Northern, the National Freight Consortium haulage company formed last year after the activities of North-Western and North-Eastern BRS were merged.
He is Andrew Callaghan, who has been manager of the company's Tameside branch for the past two years.
The newly created position includes responsibility for BRS's 15 branch and truck rental locations throughout the region. As well as co-ordinating branch operations, Andrew Callaghan will play a major part in planning and developing sales and marketing strategy.
Mr Callaghan joined BRS in 1980 as branch manager at Liverpool.
