• Bilateral road haulage agreements with Denmark and Spain will come into force on January 1. From that date goods vehicle operators will no longer have to apply to the Danish and Spanish authorities for permission to enter these countries. No permits will be required for journeys to or through Denmark. For journeys to or through Spain permits must be obtained from the Northern Traffic Area.
