Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND VEHICLES have made two new senior management appointments.

John Clarke is the man heading Leyland's new £32m truck assembly plant at Leyland, Lancashire, which will become fully operational early next year. Mr Clarke has been involved in a similar project when he helped set up the Leyland National bus plant at Workington in 1970. He then became factory manager at Workington and after rising to manufacturing manager he was promoted to the top job there as plant director in 1978. As plant director at the new Leyland truck plant, Mr Clarke will be responsible for introducing a similarly high level of production automation that is used at Workington.

Succeeding Mr Clarke as plant director at the Leyland National bus factory at Workington is Stephen Worsley. He started his career with the company in 1958 as a craft apprentice and took a degree in mechanical engineering at Salford University.
