ORDERS worth more than £900,000

received by Duple Motor Bodies Ltd. following the Commercial Motor Show. include a large number for the new Viceroy luxury coach body. Largest of these was from J. T. Whittle and Son of Kidderminster for 38 examples to be mounted on Bedford VAM chassis.

Other orders for Viceroy bodies include George Ewer and Co. Ltd., 16, and Salopia Saloon Coaches Ltd., 12, all on Bedford VAM chassis; Central Coachways (Walsall) Ltd., 10 on Ford R192 chassis; and Wessex Coaches Ltd., five on Bedford VAL and VAM chassis.
