ALDRIDGE,Walsall-based bodybuilder JC Payne has completed the first body of a £250,000 order to equip new Mercedes-Benz Antos vehicles with 28ft curtainsider bodies and tuckaway tail-lifts. All will be Antos 2530 Euro-6 and are a mixture of day and sleeper cabs.
The first six completed bodies have gone into service, with the remainder set to be completed before the end of the month.
Steve Hunt, MD of Intercounty Truck & Van, the Mercedes dealer, said all vehicles would operate on a repair and maintenance deal via Midlands Truck and Van.
