• The Distributive Industry. Training Board has announced that grant claims for training carried out during its first training period (August 1968 to July 1969) will not normally be accepted after May 311971.
A spokesman explained that the only exceptions would be cases in which firms were in negotiation with the Board over levy payable for the first year.
• The Congress of the IRU in Geneva which appeared in our dates For Your Diary last week shown as starting on May 12, has, in fact, been postponed and will now take place from May 24 to 26.
