• Following the approval of the new London North/South route from Tottenham to the M25, estate agents Healey & Baker report growing interest from hauliers in distribution premises in the area. The route was originally designed by the GLC to relieve congestion on the A1010 and Tottenham High Road by linking Broad Lane, Tottenham to Junction 25 of the M25.
• Aberdeen-based Harpers Trucks has supplied six Ford Cargo rigids to the Shore Porters Society in a deal worth 2140,000. The order, for four 7.5 thrillers and two 16-tormers, is one of the largest gained by Harpers since it was awarded its lveco Ford Truck franchise in September last year.
