ANOTHER SLEW OF suppliers has signed up to exhibit and demonstrate their products and services at the inaugural Commercial Motor Live on 3-4 October at Millbrook Proving Ground.

Among them are leading transport law firm Backhouse Jones and axle supplier BPW. For operators needing to review their tracking and telematics software, CMS Supatrak and Isotrak will be on hand. For those looking to buy equipment, whether trucks, trailers or lifts, there will be Dawson-rentals, Hireco, Maxon and Trailer Resources.

If you’re considering outsourcing your fleet’s repair and maintenance, then a visit to the Pullman Fleet Services stand will be productive.

Commercial Motor Live is a new hands-on event, designed to give transport operators access to all the latest legislation, vehicles and technology via a mixture of conference sessions, exhibition stands, and rideand-drives.

The latest trucks from Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania and Volvo will be present, and those attending the event will have the chance to drive the new vehicles on Millbrook’s demanding test tracks.

Senior traffic commissioner Beverley Bell will present the conference session on enforcement on the morning of 4 October. There are eight sessions on each day, covering compliance, technology, efficient operations, night-time deliveries and getting the most out of your drivers.

Tickets to the event cost £80, but there is an early-bird discounted rate of £70 for those who sign up before 1 July to attend.
